... Taipei Day5! (19April2010)

Very nice weather and it was getting warmer - we were near the Taipei Railway Station, waiting for Emma, whom I had worked with for a few years now, but have yet to meet before, until today!
We had lunch at a restaurant serving local cuisine - some sample of the food we had - tasty! Emma ordered a loaf of fried man tou especially for Mun2 - and she loved it!

We even tapau the remaining mantou for her snack later...

After that, we took the train to Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall. Mun2 liked the open space there...

... and she could dwarf Taipei 101 from here.

I think this was the only decent photo of the 3 of us for the whole trip! A tourist uncle saw us taking photos and insisted on taking one for us (nearly snatched my camera!) He said we must take as a family :)

We went to the upper level of the hall to watch the change of guards..

I tried to put Mun2 on Dr Sun's lap, but she cried...

After that, off to Taipei 101 again!

We were up at the 89th floor!

"I want to see but I can't reach!"

As the weather was good, we got to go out to the 91st floor outdoor viewing

Mun2 having fun walking around in circles...

She wouldn't let me hold her hands!

On the way out, 88th floor posing with the mascot, where the damper was... what kept Taipei 101 from shaking.

At night, we went to another branch of Din Tai Fung for dinner.

Look at her eager face - this time she was looking at pork chops!

Daddy: Enough pork chops!

Mun2: Please, please...
