... 2nd 5-in-1 immunisation

We brought Mun for her 2nd jab (5 months old) at Dr Belinda's. She had her first one when she was 3 months old. She was weighed and measured - 7.5kg and 63.8 cm :) She was a lot more curious now and kept looking around her instead of crying like the last time she was there. When she got her injection on her right thigh, she cried only a bit and was quickly distracted by a rattle waved by Dr Belinda. In all, it went quite well. Next immunisation will be in 2 months time :)

... Zespri Kiwi pillow speaker

My mom bought 2 boxes of Kiwi at Carrefour on Saturday and was entitled to a lucky draw. She got a green ball, hence the pillow speaker/speaker pillow. At first she thought it was a baby pillow, because the middle was indented - that's why she kept it for Mun-mun. I am not sure if it is supposed to be more of a speaker or a pillow - but I find it really CUTE!

... Hort Park

We brought Mun-mun, Kei-kei and my mom to Hort Park for a stroll (after our Transformers date, he he). We only spent about 40 minutes there as it was hot and humid, however, it was a pleasant outing as the girls enjoyed themselves. Kei even asked why we didn't bring her to Hort Park before :)

... toy piano

I bought Mun a wooden toy piano online through a forum for mothers. I had ordered it some time back that I even forgot how much it costs - around $50 I think. It finally arrived last weekend on Father's day.
It is a small wooden piano which looks really nice with the black, polished wood. The keys are not as solid as those of a real piano, but the notes sound just right. It is good enough to play simple tunes and children songs. When Mun first hit the keys, she jumped up a bit (shocked) but after that, she smiled at me :D Now when she sees the piano she will just bang her tiny hands on the keys and doesn't need to be guided (like in the photos). I wonder when she will start to play some decent tunes... ^_^

... Botanical Garden

We went to the Botanical Garden for a walk...it was Mun's first time there. It was very humid and in no time, she was sweating profusely - yet, she did not complain. She enjoyed looking at everything around her. We only went to a few areas like the ginger garden, cactus, bonsai garden, the pavillion... some of the places were where we took s0me of our wedding photos last time :) We left after about an hour with Mun and PCA soaked in sweat :S

... KL: Farewell!

The journey back to Singapore was long and hot and tiring as the traffic was quite bad. We made a few stops, the first one at the Ayer Keroh overhead bridge (again). It was such a coincidence that we met Lian's parents and brother & family who were on the way to JB. So we managed to meet little Bernyce as well :)

We made a few more stops, all the highway stops were full of people. There was traffic jam at the Johor causeway as well. It was not until about 9pm that we reached Singapore. Mun was so happy when she was back in her own bed!

... Klang!

07June09: Before we head back to Singapore, we had to make a few stops at Klang. First, we waited for PCA's cousin at Klang Hokkien Society. After meeting up with his cousin, we went to have breakfast. Mun was still grouchy from the night before - we took turns to eat while she slept in the car. After that, we went to his cousin's house for a while before we move on to Eugene's new house.

Once we reached Eugene's house, Mun was sleepy again. So she slept in Eugene's room while we had KFC and played with (or rather, chasing around) Kok Loon & Yin Hwa's kids. Their son, Jent Hwen, was exceptionally active that we had a hard time catching up with him. After Mun had her sweet sleep, it was already about 2-3pm and we had to start our journey home shortly after.

... KL : Wedding dinner at Flower Drum Restaurant

06June09: Sze Wei's wedding dinner was at Flower Drum Chinese Restaurant at Jalan Imbi. The place was quite nice and the food was quite good... well, at least for the first few dishes. I managed to sample some suckling pig before we decided to bring Mun back to the hotel. She was crying, uncomfortable and wouldn't sleep and drink milk. Look at her grouchy face! (and her daddy's stressed look .. ha ha)

Either she did not like the noise or she was very tired after 2 days on the go. I went back to the hotel with her and she was a different person back there! She was so happy and we were relieved that she drank her milk straight away. After she was changed into her pyjamas, she could still sit on her chair obediently and watched a bit of TV while I get ready her cot for sleeping. Once I tucked her in, she slept straight away! Poor girl ^_^
