... First taste: Farley's Rusk and avocado

Mun had her first taste of Farley's Rusk with milk yesterday, and some avocado today. She liked the rusk+milk a lot - opened her mouth really big. Avocado still seemed a bit thick for her, so I added some milk to it and she ate some.

All 5 cousins were at Queens during the day. It was pandemonium when they all got together. They could be best friends in a minute and enemies the other. Imagine the noise they made (talking non-stop, crying, fighting, shouting, singing, laughing, "don't-want-be-your-friend" etc).

... first taste: pumpkin

She didn't really like pumpkin. Maybe it was a bit thick/sticky - it seemed a bit difficult for her to swallow even after I mixed it with some boiled water. I'll try again next time when she is bigger...

Recently, some of you had asked me why so little photos of Mun smiling - recent photos were mostly frowning... ha ha... Here are some smiling ones, a bit blur though :)

We went to the latest shopping mall at Orchard Road - ION. We parked at Wheelock Place and B2 was connected to ION - very convenient! As expected, everyone in Singapore seemed to be there. We tried the takoyaki and maccha float by Gindaco and I think it was nice! Mun-mun was curious at first, but she got tired and slept for a while in the pram - even with all the noise and hustle & bustle...

... first taste: apple

She had her first taste of boiled and blended apples today. She seems to prefer this to papaya and banana...

... six months old!

Mun is 6 months old today! She spent the day playing with Kei-kei and Yee-yee :)

Ryan asked me why I didn't post his photo in this blog. I told him, because he did not take many 'decent' photos with Mun. He was always making funny faces and also, he seldom play with Mun - I think he found her boring, he he... Anyway, this was what happened when I asked them to take photos.... sigh...

... Mun is sick

Mun caught the flu bug. She has fever and blocked nose. Her temperature fluctuates and went as high as 38.8 degrees C at one point. She sleeps and drinks OK, just that she is a bit grouchy.

Kau-foo gave Mun a treat - violin 'concert' of her favourite songs :)

... lunch at Tom Ton

We had lunch at Tom Ton with my mom and brother. We had their special 'Black Pig' Tonkatsu as recommended by Koko. The set lunch is reasonable and the black pig is indeed tasted better than the normal pork :)
