At our train station - we're off to the zoo!
Taipei Zoo! Our main purpose was to see the giant pandas - Tuan Tuan and Yuan Yuan, since Mun2 recently knew how to recognise and say 'panda' (she'll say it 'Daaa..da!'). Upon entry, we were given tickets to the Panda House - we were only allowed to enter once! And we were given a time slot and only allowed for 10 minutes! Anyway, entrance to the zoo was very reasonable - less then S$3 per person.

After the pandas, we went to the children zoo for a while before we took a taxi to Taipei 101.
We wanted to go up to observation in Taipei 101, but there were LOTS of people.. so we'll go on a weekday instead. (Mun having fun in the shopping area)
In the evening, we took the train to the famous Shihlin night market. It was CROWDED. I thought the whole Taipei was there... interesting though.. We tried some street snacks and had KFC as well - for air-con and some seats! Look at PCA queueing for the famous Hot Star 'big chicken chop'...
