Mun had fever on Sunday evening (6th Feb). She had it for around 3 days, before we spotted some rashes on her face and body on Wednesday evening (9th Feb). Even though her fever subsided that night, we still brought her to her paediatrician (Dr Belinda) on Thursday morning to have a look at her 'rashes', suspecting it to be 'fake measles'. After we told Dr Belinda her symptoms and having a look at her, she told us it is 'jia mar' (in mandarin) (or 'ka mar' in cantonese). She even asked us to stop giving her medicine as she will be OK after 2-3 days as the rashes already appeared and fever is gone. She said that once the rashes appear and fever had subsided, it is Roseola ('fake measles'). If the fever does not subside or even increase after the rashes appear, it is real measles (which Mun is vaccinated).
We were glad that it was only the fake one - she was exceptionally clingy and tired and kept crying especially on Wednesday morning, when the rashes was appearing. Poor girl just wanted me to carry her and sleep. She could eat quite OK during mealtimes, but other than that, she just wanted to lie down or be carried.

Photos taken on Thursday - can't really see the rashes from the photos...
